Adullam – Part 4       The Conviction of Sin         Pastor David King

(Psalms 142:1) I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.
(John 6:38) For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

(Matthew 26:39) Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

(Psalms 142:3) When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way.  In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me.

(Proverbs 3:5) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

(Psalms 142:4-5) 4 Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. 5 I cry to you, Lord;
 I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of those living.”

(Psalms 142:7) Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me.

(Hebrews 4:15) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

(Psalms 142:1) I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.

(Psalms 142:2) I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble.

(Psalms 142:5) I cry to you, Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”

(Psalms 142:7) Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name.
 Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me.
